I traveled to Marrakech for the second time, as Morocco is a country I really enjoy visiting. This time, I came with my boyfriend, which made the trip even more special. We spent a few days exploring Marrakech before continuing our journey towards the coast, where we planned to spend the rest of our trip.

Paphos was our first trip together, so we were looking for something affordable for the end of October. We wanted to travel during the low season, but still hoped to find a place warm enough to enjoy the sea. That’s how we ended up choosing Paphos and it turned out to be a great decision!

I was called to officiate some basketball games at the camp, with the camp’s basketball team “Dream team” playing against two other teams from Lilongwe city.
Visiting the refugee camp was enlightening and thee was a lot of learning. Aside the basketball, the communion with the people was exquisite.

This was my second time traveling through the Balkans, a region I absolutely love. After exploring Albania, I continued my journey to Ohrid, North Macedonia, to discover one of the oldest lakes in Europe and experience this beautiful part of the Balkans.
