I traveled here because I saw pictures of this incredible blue water less than three hours from Portland while I was living there.
Malawi attained its independence from Britain in 64’ but the men behind that independence still remain a figment of history. These are drivers who toiled to ensure freedom and liberty existed for Malawian people. Paying homage to his final resting place seemed a good idea. A very beautiful final space next to the Parliament and the eye catching Presidents hotel.
Spent the whole day indoors, in bed, bored. Had nothing exciting at all, till when I decided to check my twitter that I saw my favorite artist was performing tonight at a spot I didn’t know of. Issabel King at Bumpy Road brewing at Area 10 in Lilongwe.
So I followed the pin to the place, and hooray, a beer brewing place. I haven’t had as much fun as tonight.

Being one of the closer cities to get to Europe from Australia, it was the cheapest place to start our travels. But alongside being affordable my partner and I chose to start our trip in Venice having heard of its beautiful structure, amazing history, and incredible culture with a combination of food, architecture, and Italian vibes.
We traveled to the New Buffalo area as it is a quick trip from the Chicagoland area, and found the perfect rental tucked away near Lake Michigan. There was no shortage of amazing restaurants, curated shops & markets, and activities to keep the whole family happy. The mix of beach time, great food, creative activities, and cozy local spots made the trip feel full but never overwhelming.
For a short getaway that delivered both relaxation and discovery, this area exceeded expectations. It’s approachable, unpretentious, and full of small moments that stick with you long after you’re home. We’ll absolutely be back and next time, we’ll stay longer.
We discovered Philly due to a soccer game that my husband was excited to attend. It was a very quick trip, but we loved the city (and probably will come back soon).
New Orleans captured my imagination long before this trip. As a teenager, I loved vampire movies and TV shows, many of which were filmed here. Walking these streets felt like stepping into those scenes—moody, cinematic, and full of character. Visiting New Orleans was a chance to bring that longtime interest to life and experience the city’s unique atmosphere in person.
Our annual weekend trip to Florida.
I chose this trip because I was working in Italy at a summer camp in a nearby region, and it felt like the perfect opportunity to explore more of the area. Since I absolutely love the beach, spending my free time by the sea made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We traveled to Portugal for its energy. For the hills that make your legs burn, the viewpoints that make you stop mid-sentence, and a city that keeps pulling you forward instead of letting you sit still.
Portugal felt alive—full of walking, climbing, getting lost, eating well, laughing a lot, and constantly saying “one more stop.” It’s the kind of place where every day turns into a mix of plans, detours, and happy accidents.
