I’m Dr. Willyetta “Lady W” Mitchell, the heart behind Lady W’s Tours and Travel. I don’t just plan trips. I help tired, overworked women, caregivers, and professionals remember who they are again.

Travel literally helped save my life. In a season of burnout, grief, and constant responsibility, getting on a plane and stepping into a new place gave me something I hadn’t felt in a long time: breathing room. Somewhere between the boarding gate and the ocean breeze, I realized I didn’t just need a vacation, I needed my life back.

That’s my why:
I believe travel can be a reset for your mind, body, and soul. With me, it’s not about racing through a checklist. It’s about rest, joy, and alignment. I create trips that let you slow down, laugh loud, eat well, sleep in, and come home clearer, lighter, and more yourself.

My favorite way to travel
Give me slow, soulful luxury every times, especially ocean and river cruises. I love unpacking once, waking up in a new destination, and letting the water do what it does best: calm your spirit while somebody else handles the cooking, cleaning, and driving. Add good music, meaningful conversations, and quiet moments with God? That’s my lane.

My dream destination
At the top of my travel dreams is Cape Town, South Africa, where mountains meet the sea, culture runs deep, and the views preach their own kind of sermon. I picture slow mornings with ocean air, afternoons exploring the city and coastline, and evenings reflecting on how big and beautiful life really is.

Through Lady W’s Tours and Travel, I help you stop living on empty and start traveling your way back to yourself, one cruise, one girls’ trip, one soul-rest escape at a time.

I am a travel coach, writer, retreat host, book nerd, insatiable wanderer, and cheese connoisseur. I've been to 26 countries in four continents, many of which I've returned several times. Quality time in-country is more important than ticking off boxes of touristy destinations. My travel coaching business, Link2Cultures LLC, is about connecting to yourself and your host destination. Having a background and understanding of the host culture will give you a more enrichening experience. I create quality itineraries that are culturally-minded for authentic immersion.
