Our plan was to make it all the way around the boot and then end in Sicily, a place my boyfriend has wanted to see for a while. We ended up skipping most of the boot because there was a really easy overnight ferry from Naples to Palermo. So off to Sicily we went!

Ancient Wonders & Hidden Waters of Tulum
I’d always been fascinated by the ancient Mayan culture, so visiting the iconic ruins overlooking the Caribbean Sea was at the top of my list. I also wanted to unwind on Tulum’s beautiful beaches and explore its magical cenotes hidden in the jungle.
