A quick weekend getaway at the beginning of spring break before driving down to San Diego!
A few years ago, I was living in Seattle and my best friend was living in LA. He came up for a super fast visit over the 4th of July weekend and had never been to Washington before, so I wanted to show him as much of the state as I could while still giving him a feel for Seattle. So I took him on a two-day road trip and then spent one day in the city.
Staying a single night at sought after campgrounds makes it easier to find availability for last minute trips. Breaking camp every night can be rough, but this kept us on our toes and got us moving early each day!
To camp and fish a tournament!

Wanted to escape to the outdoors with my family.
Visited a friend in Denver to see Al Green at Red Rocks and drive up to Crested Butte for camping with other friends. We enjoyed the perfect mix of nights out in Denver and camping/hiking.
Our family was considering buying a condo in Scottsdale and we wanted to get to know the area a bit better and see some Bucket List worthy locations in AZ.

We had some spare time while visiting with my family after two years away and because my boyfriend is English and has only been to the States with me once before, I wanted to continue showing him around the country. We originally had three weeks so our plan was to head to Yosemite, but when our trip got cut short, I came up with the perfect ~2 week itinerary around the Four Corners to see places even I had never been before!
Big Cedar Lodge is America's Premier Wilderness Luxury Resort, and it lives up to it's name! We return here year after year to enjoy Winter/Spring in the Ozarks! Big Cedar Lodge has endless activities, many top-tier restaurants and a lovely spa, just to name a few of the perks!
We traveled to Grayton Beach, FL, after Christmas and stayed past the New Year. We wanted to have a relaxing vacation with family, without a strict schedule and be able to enjoy the beach without the crowds that summer brings!
After spending 1.5 years living, traveling, and exploring Western Australia, I can honestly say it’s the most beautiful – and most underrated – state in the country. From its vibrant outback landscapes to untouched beaches and unique wildlife, WA offers a raw, authentic side of Australia that many travelers completely miss. Whether you’re road-tripping along the coast or hiking through deep red gorges, this place has a magic all its own. Here’s a glimpse into some of my favorite spots – each one full of unforgettable memories and natural beauty.
Cape Breton is one of the most picturesque places in Canada that we've always wanted to explore!
We were lucky enough to live in this area for the past year, and managed to gather a ton of insider tips on how to best navigate this beautiful spot on Canada's Atlantic coast.
We condensed our recommendations into a one-week itinerary. We'd recommend checking out each day and seeing if you want to add another day or two to travel a little slower and explore a specific area some more. Another day in the Highlands Park at minimum would be ideal.

What Camping and Glamping Travel Feels Like

These itineraries reflect a wide range of camping trips and glamping vacations. Some lean simple and rustic. Others blend outdoor adventure with ease. All of them are about slowing down and letting nature set the tone.
