Day 1
I flew into Austin and checked in at Hotel ZaZa, located right in downtown Austin. I dropped off my luggage in the suite before changing into my swimsuit and heading down to the pool and cabana bar on-site, Group Therapy. I enjoyed catching some rays poolside while enjoying drinks into sunset, before heading up to the room for an early night!
Day 2
The next day, I enjoyed a lovely plate of fruit for breakfast before heading down to Barbell Billy’s, Hotel ZaZa’s onsite gym, to sweat out the drinks from the night before.
Then, I walked over to the Austin Proper Hotel to enjoy my spa day at the Verbena Spa. I enjoyed some holistic treats, CBD tea, and an impeccable 75-minute massage from Amber before relaxing in the steam room and rinsing off.
I enjoyed dinner at The Peacock, an upscale Mediterranean-themed restaurant inside the hotel. The staff made some excellent recommendations and I had an adaptogen-infused mocktail, blue-crab hummus, and lamb kebabs, which were all absolutely delectable! I was very full but was given complimentary baklava to-go, which I thought was a nice gesture, and very much enjoyed as a late-night snack upon returning to the hotel. (Thanks, Bianca!)
Later that evening, I walked over to 6th street to experience Austin’s legendary live music scene. I spent the evening listening to live music and enjoying drinks up and down 6th street before meandering my way back to Hotel ZaZa for the evening.
Day 3
On the last day, I checked out of Hotel ZaZa and went to enjoy one of Texas’s most iconic swimming holes about an hour outside of Austin— Krause Springs. There is a man-made spring-fed pool, a river, natural springs, and a lovely waterfall grotto. This place gives oasis vibes for sure and was a wonderful place to spend the day cooling off before my flight later that evening!
