This was our first stop on a summer European vacation. We've always wanted to go to Ireland, found a great flight and decided to stop there on our way to Sweden!

Trip Recap

  • Day 1: Explored Dublin’s Temple Bar, St. Stephen's Green, and Trinity College today!
  • Day 2: Exploring the Cliffs of Moher with Michael was unforgettable—highly recommend!

Day 1

Day 1 was about exploring Dublin! We arrived early in the morning and left our bags at the hotel since we couldn't check in until 3pm. We walked around the Temple Bar area, where we were staying, to get the lay of the land. We walked around St. Stephen's Green Park, ate lunch at The Bank, and toured Trinity College and saw the Book of Kells

Day 2

Today we booked a tour to see the Cliffs of Moher. It was fantastic! We used Paddywagon tours and our tour guide Michael was the best. He pointed out all the sights as we drove through Ireland to the West Coast from Dublin. We made little stops along the way that made the experience that much more enjoyable. It was a full day experience! We had dinner at a pub around the corner called the Old Storehouse and loved it so much we went back later to watch a soccer game.

Anything you would add or do differently?

  • I would've taken the later flight that got in at 10am OR booked our hotel for the day before so that we could've got straight to our hotel room.
