It was a volunteering opportunity to teach kids from the Reserve’s surrounding schools about environment and conservation, eco tourism and wildlife.

Surrounded by majestic alpine giants, Mestia is the gateway to a hiker’s playground in Georgia’s Caucasus Mountains. Snow-capped peaks, dense forests, mighty glaciers, verdant hills, rushing rivers, and medieval stone towers decorate the landscape in this nature lover’s paradise. Hiking from village to village introduces you to the nurturing hospitality of this gorgeous, remote region of Georgia.

The enchanting waters, immense rock walls, and fairy-tale villages of the Norwegian fjords are best explored by boat. Starting from historic Bergen and its colorful wooden wharf, this voyage through Norway’s longest and deepest fjord guided us through some of Scandinavia’s most dramatic scenery. Cruising the narrow waterways between high mountains delivers a glimpse into rustic farms, authentic Norwegian charm, and peaceful sanctuaries every time you disembark.

I wanted a break from my studies. School had been overwhelming and I just wanted something different. A quiet space to reset the mind and soul. So I decided go on a trip, to paint and enjoy the scenery. To relax and recalibrate.

Beautiful place for a couples' road trip! We decided to plan our own trip rather than do the usual Dubrovnik and coastal route, and had a great time. I went to school here and lived here for a period of time! I wanted to share some of the best spots in this cute, quirky town that has been the subject of songs.

This was my second time traveling through the Balkans, a region I absolutely love. After exploring Albania, I continued my journey to Ohrid, North Macedonia, to discover one of the oldest lakes in Europe and experience this beautiful part of the Balkans.

I decided to go on a solo trip for my birthday (again, big surprise!) and wanted to go back to Colombia. It became a second home to me after my first time there and I was so excited to see the families I met in the surrounding islands and make new life long friends like how I did back in 2025. Cartagena is the kind of place where you can't stay a stranger for long, and I wanted to spend my birthday somewhere that already felt like mine.

Living in Scotland now, it is so easy and fun to pop over to mainland Europe. And yes, I do mean "pop over"! We had best friends from home that were coming to Spain for a wedding, so we all met up in Barcelona afterwards to catch up, and because we COULD!

This was our first stop on a summer European vacation. We've always wanted to go to Ireland, found a great flight and decided to stop there on our way to Sweden!
