I was heading to a business trip in Vietnam and since I’m a travel planner, I wanted to add a few destinations to the trip that I felt could get to know quickly. One week in Bangkok and one week in Chiang Mai, where I was really interested in getting to know, felt like the perfect amount of time.

I was traveling with a friend in Croatia and she mentioned to me that going to Cappadocia and riding in a hot air balloon was one of her dreams. I hadn't heard of it before but when I looked it up, the destination looked incredible. I met some friends in a hostel in Istanbul who were planning on going there next, so I jumped at the opportunity and off we went 2 days later!
A few years ago, I was living in Seattle and my best friend was living in LA. He came up for a super fast visit over the 4th of July weekend and had never been to Washington before, so I wanted to show him as much of the state as I could while still giving him a feel for Seattle. So I took him on a two-day road trip and then spent one day in the city.
I went on an all women’s surf, yoga, and empowerment retreat with 10 other women from around the world!
