Sedona Kayaking Day Trip
Sedona is suuuuch a magical place! For me, Sedona feels like Eden: a true Heaven on Earth.
Whenever I need rest and rejuvenation in nature, I always venture to Sedona to recharge.
Trip Recap
- Day 1: Paddling on the Verde River, soaking up the sun, and jamming to reggae tunes!
Highlights
There’s nothing I love more than have lazy days in the sun. I love this trip because I just lay in the sun all day without a care in the world :)
Day 1
You've arrived in Sedona!
Whether you're staying at a hotel, airbnb, or campervan, you wake up surrounded by the majestic beauty of the red rock scenery.
Wake up early, take care of your needs and get ready for a day of relaxing adventure because the Verde River is calling your name!
8:00 AM: Prepare a day pack (lunch, sunscreen, speaker, etc)
9:00 AM: Eat breakfast acai at Berry Divine Acai Bowls
10:00 AM: Drive to Verde Adventure River Trips
11:00 AM: You’ve arrived; Get excited!
11:15-4PM: River leisure. Enjoy your day afloat the river with friends, family or the company of yourself! I love kicking back on the kayak with some reggae music and the warmth of the sun kissing my skin. Talk about fun in the fun! Need a break from paddling? Veer off to the side, ‘park’ your kayak and go for a swim in the river or nap on the sidelines.
4:30 PM: Time to head back to Sedona
6:00 PM: Enjoy a causal dinner at your favorite Sedona eatery (I love Butterfly Burger) or make a meal yourself. Reminisce on your day, share photos+video and let me know how you enjoyed this relaxing day trip
Happy adventuring! ⛵️🌞🌊
Anything you would add or do differently?
-
Don’t plan to do much after your river trip. My friends and I had elaborate plans of doing more activities but were so tired and in a state of calm after kayaking all day!
It’s best to just eat, wind down and relax after a long day paddling in the sun.
