  • Day 3: Breakfast at our favorite spot, then volunteer at Lanta Animal Welfare.
  • Day 4: The 4 Island Tour was an unforgettable adventure with breathtaking views!
  • Day 5: We enjoyed coffee, brownies, and a serene afternoon at Long Beach.

Day 1

On the first day, we rented a scooter in Krabi and drove all the way to Koh Lanta, taking a ferry along the way. After arriving, we dropped off our luggage and went out to explore the Old Town. It’s a really charming area, perfect for buying souvenirs, stopping for a coffee, and just wandering around. We ate one of our favorite desserts, mango crumble, at a super cute café. It was a very relaxed day, and we soon headed back to our accommodation to rest.

Day 2

On the next day, we went to explore some beaches and discovered Nui Bay. It was beautiful and not very crowded, so we spent the whole day there. We ended the day watching a stunning sunset. For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious Pad Kra Pow on a Thai Malasian restaurant.

Day 3

The next day, we slept in and went for breakfast at a place that quickly became our favorite. A mother and daughter run it, and they make a delicious sandwich. After that, we visited Lanta Animal Welfare, an organization that takes care of abandoned dogs and cats. It was really nice, we could visit the animals, stop by the café, and make donations.

Day 4

We went on a boat tour called the 4 Island Tour, which started early in the morning and lasted until late afternoon. The experience was absolutely incredible. We visited several stunning islands with crystal-clear blue waters and amazing landscapes. During the tour, we went snorkeling and saw lots of colorful fish, swam through a cave, and explored hidden spots along the way. We also had lunch on a beautiful beach, enjoying the sun and the views. It was a full day of adventure and relaxation, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Day 5

On our last day, we had breakfast again at the same place, this time enjoying a delicious coffee and caramel brownie. Afterwards, we spent the entire afternoon at Long Beach, a big beach with calm waters. We just relaxed there and, at the end of the day, had dinner at a seaside restaurant nearby called Sweet Lanta. They specialize in vegetarian food, which was really good,we had a Massaman curry.

Anything you would add or do differently?

  • I would only recommend visiting if you can drive a scooter, since the island is big and apps like Grab or Bolt don’t work there.

  • Take your time exploring the island! it’s perfect for slowing down and relaxing
