I travelled with some friends that i was studying abroad with for a trip to Morocco! We went on an organized trip, as at the time, that was a safer option and fairly cheap to do from Spain!

Since we always head east to see family for Christmas, Thanksgiving became our time to travel wherever we want (just the five of us). Initially we took beach vacations to islands, but then we decided it was time to start exploring the different areas within the United States, more specifically the National Parks.

For this trip, we didn’t have a full week, so we decided to start with three parks that were relatively close to each other.

Also, since my youngest was in fourth grade, we wanted to take advantage of the US Government’s Every Kid Outdoors (everykidoutdoors.gov) program, which provides all fourth graders and their families free access to national parks, lands, and waters for a full year! This is an amazing program—increasing access to outdoor recreation for everyone!

Beach Hopping on the Samana' Peninsula

Sometimes you just need to get away to the beach. A nice beach. Lots of them, in fact. Given the Dominican Republic's relative proximity to the US, combined with affordable accommodations and a wealth of the aforementioned beaches, our travel group chose the Samana' Peninsula as a base of operations for a relaxing beach vacation.

Rio de Janeiro & the Costa Verde

Our motives in traveling to Rio and the Costa Verde were to enjoy some beach vibes and colonial charm. Plus, the opportunity to see famous harbor of Rio de Janeiro and its world-famous beaches was a strong incentive as well.

I was traveling with a friend in Croatia and she mentioned to me that going to Cappadocia and riding in a hot air balloon was one of her dreams. I hadn't heard of it before but when I looked it up, the destination looked incredible. I met some friends in a hostel in Istanbul who were planning on going there next, so I jumped at the opportunity and off we went 2 days later!

Camping in Maui

As Europeans, we've always dreamed of visiting Hawaii Islands, once for being famous to be a paradisiac place, but also for being far away and unreachable. The three of us are young professionals and adventurers by heart. So, we decided we want to see Maui, but as low-budget and as adventurously as possible. We challenged ourselves to get there and we finally did it this summer.

Hidden Gems in Egypt

Hidden Gems in Egypt

In the first semester of 2021, I was feeling very frustrated with experiences I had been through and the life I was building in Thailand, where I used to live, and I was thinking it was time to leave, and probably to go back home. I was locked up in hospital because I got COVID, it was mandatory to stay there for 14 days, and believe me, that was such a hard time for me. I was in the other side of the World, missing my family and everyone I loved, and literally could count on no one in that situation, because everyone was just scared of the virus and even blaming me for being sick (yea, crazy, right?)
And someday during that 14 days, a friend of mine that also lived in Thailand called me and told me he wanted to go to Egypt, and asked me if I wanted to join him for a couple of weeks and explore the whole country. I actually had never thought about traveling to Egypt in that time of my life, but I instantaneously accepted the invitation. That would be an incredible adventure, and why not going with a friend to make things easier. I needed that, I needed something new.

How to Plan an Adventure Trip

Adventure doesn't look the same for everyone. For some, it's hiking through misty peaks. For others, it's kayaking hidden lagoons, sleeping under the stars, or saying yes to something completely new.

That's why Pinerary shares real travel stories and itineraries from travelers who've actually done it. Explore their routes, learn from their timing and choices, and borrow the tips that matter most to you. This isn't travel for show — it's practical insight that helps you plan smarter, from gear and logistics to the moments worth slowing down for.

At our core, we're a community of adventurers, explorers, and memory-makers. We've gone first, learned along the way, and we're here to pass those experiences forward.

Adventure Trip Planning, Made Simple

The best adventures feel spontaneous, but they're rarely unplanned. A great itinerary strikes the balance between excitement and ease, leaving room for discovery without unnecessary stress.

Pinerary helps you plan with confidence. See when to go, how long to stay, where local insight matters most, and how to match your adventure to your budget. Use filters like Days, Type, Vibe, and Budget to quickly find itineraries that fit your travel style — then make them your own.

Because the world is waiting, and your next great story is just a click away.

Adventure Itineraries You Can Actually Use

Found a traveler who did a week in Patagonia or a weekend in the Alps? Open their adventure itinerary, and you'll see how the trip really unfolded — where they stayed, what they did each day, the spots they loved, and the pacing that made it work. Use it as a starting point, borrow what fits, and tweak the rest: add a recovery day, swap an activity, or stretch the trip to match your style.

Adventure trips still come with variables — timing, weather, energy, and logistics. That's why Pinerary focuses on real stories from real travelers: the kind of detail that helps you plan with confidence and avoid starting from scratch. Follow travelers you trust and explore the adventures they take next…all grounded in lived experience.

Ready For Your Next Adventure Trip?

Thinking of a guided tour and adventure tour itineraries? Pinerary has it all! Each one comes with a full itinerary, with photos, budgets, group size, and vibe. Get your itinerary for outdoor adventure or share your own adventure-planning expertise; every enthusiast is welcome here.

Whether you're considering a guided experience or planning your own route, Pinerary brings real adventure itineraries together in one place. Explore trips shared by travelers, complete with photos, timing, group details, budgets, and the overall vibe — so you can plan with confidence.

Found inspiration? Save an itinerary, follow the traveler, or start mapping your own adventure. Be sure to share your story — your experience might be exactly what someone else needs to take the leap!

And all it takes is one real trip, one genuine itinerary, and you're halfway to your next adventure vacation. Don't forget to share your story!
