Great place to stop before flying back to the US!
My best friend moved to Frisco, Colorado a couple of years ago and I love visiting her. My boyfriend and I stayed at her house for a week and decided to tackle a couple 14ers together.

Trip to see extended family and explore Dubai a bit
We traveled to Turin, Italy to visit family, then we headed to Barcelona for my daughter to attend a pottery intensive, and finally to Alicante to relax on the beach!
We planned a girls trip to visit my daughter while she was studying in Granada.
We were very happy our college-age daughters’ spring break aligned with ours. Special family trip to a part of Mexico we have never enjoyed before–the paradise of Holbox!
Our daughter was study abroad for the semester and spending the last part of her trip in London. We went over the pond to spend Thanksgiving with her. While not the traditional way to spend the American holiday, we still manage to get caught up in the holiday spirit and London was an incredible place to be this time of year!
We went to visit our Santa Clara University student for Family Weekend-there is so much you can do during a weekend visit!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here 20 years ago and wanted to share our love for Hawaii with our children.
Went to visit our daughter attending Cal Poly.
We traveled to Grayton Beach, FL, after Christmas and stayed past the New Year. We wanted to have a relaxing vacation with family, without a strict schedule and be able to enjoy the beach without the crowds that summer brings!
Thailand has always been one of our favorite getaway destinations, especially since it’s just a short trip from where we live. Whenever there’s a long weekend, we find ourselves drawn back to this beautiful country—its perfect mix of shopping, culture, nature, and warm hospitality makes every visit special.
One of the things we love most about Thailand is how budget-friendly it is. You can indulge in amazing food, explore stunning sights, and experience luxury without spending a fortune. It’s a place that feels both modern and deeply rooted in tradition, where skyscrapers stand alongside historic temples, and vibrant markets buzz with energy. No matter how many times we visit, Thailand always has something new to offer, which is why we never miss a chance to return!
The Maldives is famous for its breathtaking white-sand beaches and mesmerizing underwater world. But did you know there are two very different ways to experience this tropical paradise?
You can either stay on a local island for an affordable, culture-rich experience or indulge in the luxury of a private island resort.
We wanted to experience both! Economically, the local island stay is much cheaper, offering charming boutique hotels, cozy cafés, and authentic restaurants—but no alcohol. While modest dress codes apply, designated bikini beaches let visitors swim and sunbathe freely.
But of course, you can’t leave the Maldives without trying the iconic overwater villa experience! We made it extra special by choosing one with a slide for our daughter, and it was absolutely worth it. Staying at a private island resort meant no restrictions—we could wear whatever we liked and enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset over the endless ocean.
No matter the choice, the Maldives was one of an unforgettable escapes we ever did. 🌴✨
